This years event is being run a little differently this year with a slightly different name. Instead of creating the emails like previous years I will be making entries here and posting matching entries via Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Don’t worry, I will include links there too so you can always find your way back.
As always though, MFPC is about creativity. Getting yourself geared up for the start of the busy period and putting your best foot forward for the 2025 party season!
This March Face Paint Challenge runs every year from the 1st of March and encourages you to paint your face every day (28) with a prompt for you here every day at 10am. You’ll receive your first prompt then. The prompts are also posted on the Facebook group, Insta and TikTok later in the day, if you’d like to join us there. You do not have to meet the prompt to take part… but if you do you could win a prize!
Personally, I chose to do this challenge to raise money for Different Strokes. This charity helped me when I had a stroke at a young age (22) and again in 2017. You can sponsor me here: www.justgiving.com/page/marchfacepaintchallenge
The aim is to paint on your face, it makes great content for your socials and is good practice for placement… but we understand that is not always possible. Submissions will also be accepted on other skin or practice boards. OTJ work is also permissible as long as it meets the brief and was painted for the prompt and not old work. The event takes place over 28 days with 3 bonus or catch up days.
These will be on the 15th, 18th and 30th of March for 2025
AND because I believe effort should be rewarded… There is a prize draw of a custom cut stencil bundle for the most complete entries. The entries will be chosen by ballot for everyone who completes the challenge. In the unlikely event no one finishes… the top prize will be awarded based on the below criteria with a tie break chosen by random number generator
- Most accurate to prompts
- Most paints on faces
- Least catch up days used
